GaYoung Kim, also known as GaGa or Gabong, is a handcraft artist based in Seoul, Korea. With a diverse portfolio, GaGa explores and contemplates contemporary art, creating objects and experimenting with various materials. Although she has received extensive art education, her current creations no longer carry philosophical speculation; they exist purely from an aesthetic perspective.
"Hiss... hiss... hiss..."
Beware! It's a rattlesnake, and it's rattling its tail.
But nothing can rattles me from creating. Absolutely nothing!
I can endure rejection, navigate the depths of melancholy, and persevere through despair. And yet, I emerge unscathed. Nothing has the power to rattle me. Nothing!
In addition to her role as an artisan, GaYoung also pursues a professional career as a gallery curator.
